So much to be gained...

Information systems are what always take public transport forward, as can be seen from the examples of Quebec (Canada) and Isère (France) in this issue. The message has really sunk in at Xerox’ research centre: just over a year after joining the group, we will soon know how to simulate the impact of a new line or new station on urban travel journeys. Optimising infrastructure is a fine return on investment for ticketing systems!
